Empathetic Counsellors for a Diverse Spectrum of Support
Our team of counsellors provide a comprehensive range of counselling services, ranging from family counselling, retirement issues, and personal growth to more complex mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, behavioural disorders, and trauma.
Every counsellor possesses at least a master’s degree in counselling in marriage and family therapy, or social work, and is accredited by their respective professional bodies.

How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment with a Centre Renaissance counsellor, you may:
- Call the office main line (204) 256-6750 and leave a message at extension 20
- Select “Book an appointment” at the top of each webpage
What is the cost for counselling services?
Our rates per session range from $90.00 to $120.00 depending if you have insurance or not.
If you have insurance, you will need to know which professional designations your insurance company will cover. For example, some insurance companies only allow for billing for a Psychologist or Social Worker.
If you require counselling services under our sliding scale program, the rate of session will be based on your situation and can be discussed with your counsellor. Example; $10 to $60.
Payment is accepted at the end of each session via: Cash, check, e-transfer, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay.
Is counselling available virtually and in-person?
Counselling sessions can be conducted either in-person or virtually (phone or video).
How long are the sessions?
Our counselling appointments are usually 55 minutes in duration.
Is there a waitlist?
We aim to schedule the initial appointment within two (2) weeks of the first point of contact. The wait times for our services may vary.
Are there counselling services available for minors?
Yes, we offer counselling services to children and youth. Consent will be required from parents of children younger than the age of 16.
Where are you located?
We currently have three (3) locations where counselling services can be conducted, including:
- Centre Renaissance main office, located at 844 Autumnwood Drive, Winnipeg MB R2J 1C1
- Université de Saint-Boniface, 200 De la Cathedrale Ave, Winnipeg MB R2H 0H7 (only available for enrolled students)
- Town of Ste Anne at the Seine Medical Centre for French speaking clients only referred by their medical staff
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We kindly request that cancellations or rescheduling be made with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Failure to provide the required notice will result in a charge equivalent to 50% of the hourly rate.
Our Partners
We provide counselling services to Université de Saint-Boniface students, delivered either on campus or at our office. We also provide counselling services to Santé Sud residents through our satellite counselling office located in Sainte-Anne, Manitoba. We offer services to Health Canada's Employee Assistance Program, and our services can be extended through our regular programming when benefits run out.
